He has recently also sung demanding tenor solos, including the Verdi&nbsp;<em>Requiem<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His compositions include children&#8217;s songs, carols, church anthems and instrumental works, and have been broadcast on&nbsp;<em>Classic FM<\/em>&nbsp;and given &#8216;live&#8217; performances in the UK (including at the South Bank) and abroad. His arrangements range from Worship Songs (pub. RSCM), choral medleys of Songs from the Shows, virtuoso piano transcriptions, and reduced orchestrations of&nbsp;<strong>Parry<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>I was Glad<\/em>&nbsp;(pub Novello),&nbsp;<strong>Elgar\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>The Dream of Gerontius<\/em>&nbsp;(1999) and the&nbsp;<strong>Verdi<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Requiem<\/em>&nbsp;(2000, USA 2007),&nbsp;<strong>Vaughan Williams\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>A Song of Thanksgiving<\/em>&nbsp;(2008, OUP) and&nbsp;<strong>Parry<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Blest Pair of Sirens<\/em>&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;<em>Jerusalem<\/em>&nbsp;(2011).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David finds these disciplines enrich one another and for the same reason also enjoys teaching youngsters and adults of all ages and standards, from beginners to fellow professionals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the personal website for David and Kate Meacock.
