Kate has recently accompanied professional vocal soloists in A40 Choir concerts and, with Malcolm Hicks (who often works with the BBC SO and Chorus) played in Janacek’s The Lord’s Prayer.
She previously has performed a wide variety of background music at the Hyatt and Swallow hotels in Birmingham, locally at the Bellhouse Hotel, Gerrards Cross and for private receptions and parties, as well as playing for Ballet classes.
Kate teaches the piano, theory, aural and composition in our house in Chalfont St Peter and at her parents' home in Piddington, West Wycombe. These lessons are on the best pianos: £75K worth of Steinway 'B' Grand (the Rolls Royce of pianos) or Yamaha uprights.
A highly talented artist – painting and drawing – Kate has had a painting hung at the Royal Academy of Art, London.
